“Muay Thai” or “Thai Boxing” is a martial art also known as “The Art of 8 Limbs.” The use of individuals’ shins, knees, elbows, and fists with various techniques fulfil the beauty and intensity of the art.
What you can expect in your Thai Boxing Trial:
- An introduction to the basic Thai boxing stance, guard and upper body strikes.
- Get a feel of what thai boxing techniques entail
- Gain understanding on the different fitness components that are enhanced through thai boxing
- Brain gym exercises to improve your mental alterness
- A fun circuit training exercise to boost blood circulation
- A full-body workout
NOTE: You will be required to wear handwraps, ankle supports and have a pair of boxing gloves. All these items can be purchased from Lantern Life Fitness Studio. Please enquire about this prior to arrival with a member of staff by contacting us. If you already have the above equipment, please bring it along with you on your trial session.
